Grandpa! Get away from that Microphone!
This is an open letter to Don Imus who, this week, crawled out of his nursing home, commandeered a radio station, and spewed non-sense on air. It was at this ill fated and much publicized time that referred to the Rutgers female basketball team "Nappy headed hoes". This is an open letter to him in response.
Dear Grandpa Don, "Nappy-headed hoes"? I can't believe it! You ought to be ashamed of yourself. How dare you compare the Rutgers girls basketball team to a bunch of sexy slutty women of African-American heritage found frequently in clubs, limos, and rap videos.
This is another major set back in the acceptance of hoes in our society. Furthermore you just insulted every average America ho. How are these poor women supposed to be able to fuck random dudes in the club when there are people like you comparing them to female basketball players? How Don?! How?! What if everyone thought like that? Hoes, fearing society's labels, would probably have to wear skirts instead of mini skirts, and blouses instead of halter tops, or maybe they would even have to learn how to read.
The women of Rutgers indeed might have been "rough looking" but lets give them the respect they deserve too. They are just like any other female NCAA basketball players out there. They're a bunch of Amazonian Dykes who can probably pee farther standing up than John Holmes, but I guess an insensitive jerk like you wouldn't know something like that. To someone like you, any 8-foot mannish lesbian in droopy shorts is a "ho", right Don? Its vast generalizations like these that are keeping hoes down and G's up in this country.
I'm not a feminist Don but I take certain women's issues very seriously. 50 cent said "I deal with more hoes than a Chineese Phone Book". According to you Don, 50 cent is sleeping with ugly lesbians. That's 50 cent, Don! He's the working man's Eminem! He doesn't deserve that.

Well I'm not sure what hes talking about there but one thing is for sure. He knew what a ho was and I doubt he was taking about some 6'7" lesbian power forward.
I know I'm angry Don but maybe this national dialog about hoes is what this country needed. Maybe it wasn't your fault. Maybe you'ree just a product of your environment. Perhaps growing up you never went to school with a ho or had a ho in your neighborhood. I'm fortunate that I grew up in a neighborhood with plenty of hoes. It was this experience that shaped who I am today. I love hoes Don. I just wish everybody did.

I was really hoping to avoid further commentary on this issue, but alas.
My only question is: who the fuck cares? I'm not trying to insult these girls, but had they ever even heard of Don Imus before? Seriously, what college kids listen to his show? I sure as shit don't. So, why should they even care? Fuck him! Have you seen Don Imus? He's fucking nappy-headed!
I used to listen to him on WGAR-AM before I moved down here. He has always been terribly shocking! I for one, was hurt and dismayed that he would talk down to these young ladies in such a fashion, and your article here brings to light the other side of the problem with his statements. How are destitute young women that are forced to sell their young bodies on the street going to deal with these comments? This isn't going to help their self-esteem at all either! I think Don Imus should be tarred and feathered!

the rutgers "ladies" basketball team shouldn't give a gerricurl what Imus says. Although hearing someone who, as xxvxl------ pointed out ooks like a republican old lady, call a bunch of mannish scholarships "nappy headed hoes (nhh)", was fucking hysterical.
Imus has always and will always be the voice of the crotchedy, old, wealthy, conservative, white closet bigot.
