I agree. I always do my drafts the weekend before the season starts. But everybody couldn't do it that weekend *cough* AB *cough*, or any other date, so we had to do it this way.

...whoever said that watching a fantasy football draft drag out over several days on a comedy website was not riveting or funny is just a big fat moron.
This ranks second only to EUGENE recounting his poker nights with his boyfriends. I can hardly contain myself.

I figure at this point I win/lose either way. If Blackburn throws a gem then that's awesome, but if the A's win then that's cool too. If the A's were in a pennant race then I would bench Blackburn. My allegiance is first and foremeost to my real team, so I won't start fantasty guys going against them. But, since the A's season is in the shitter then there's not much for me to worry about.

I'm obviously not inside his head, but what he was trying to do was roast people tell bad jokes that involved no cussing at all because all Bob saget does is cuss in his act. I didn't laugh my ass off or anything, but I think it was pretty brilliant in hindsight. kind of an Andy Kauffman tribute.

Thanks for the link. I actually liked that. I was thinking that it could also reflect the difference between Bob's squeaky/dorky Funniest Home Video persona and his raunchy stand-up. Or just an F-U to Comedy Central, practically daring them to air the bit. Probably the later, because McDonald is a dick and he loves messing with people.
Christine, Nice play on the end. You did the best with what you had...and it just might work.

Not only that, back in June we all went to Oklahoma and partied on Vertigo's parent's ranch. It was pretty awkward at first, but then we all got drunk and had a blast. Tman brought his guitar and we all sang songs. Vert's parents took us horse back riding and Spartan fell off. it was HYSTERICAL.
I made out with Balls hardcore near the stable, but then I got scared when he wanted to do me and told him we should just be friends.
Vert's mom makes delicious cake and booze is, in fact, delicious.
